A 59-year-old woman is in a critical condition at the Belize Healthcare Partners after she was physically assaulted inside her home this afternoon.
According to the report, Rosa Chinchia was at home when 25-year-old Santos Zepeda visited her and asked if he could borrow some money.
After Chinchia refused, Santos became angry and attacked her and inflicted a large cut wound on her throat.
Santos Zepeda then fled the area but has since been caught and detained by Police who are looking to charge him with Attempted Murder.
Update: Rosa Chinchia has reportedly past away this morning after being in critical condition for the past week at the Belize Healthcare Partners.
