The Director of Health Services, Dr. Marvin Manzanero, has announced that the Ministry of Health has decided to extend the official time of quarantine for patients testing positive for the COVID-19 Virus from 14 days to 21 days.
This comes after follow-up tests, 14 days after the first diagnosis, of the first two patients, returned positive despite the fact that they are no longer showing any symptoms of the illness.
Dr. Manzanero further claims that all patients will now be required to receive two follow-up tests in which both must come back as negative in order for the patient to be released from quarantine.
