The Belize Police Department report that a total of 147 people were arrested and charged throughout Belize for various offenses under the State of Emergency Regulations that were implemented on Friday, August 7th.
- 124 People for failing to wear a Cloth Mask or other type of Face Covering while in public.
- 18 People for being out past curfew.
- 2 Persons for failing to practice Social Distancing.
- 1 Person for moving outside of curfew hours without a valid reason.
- 1 Person for failing to wear a Cloth Mask or other type of Face Covering while taking Public Transportation.
- 1 Person for keeping their Business open when required to be closed.
