The Ministry of Health has released their daily results for Thursday, October 29th and according to them, the laboratories have sent back the results claiming a whopping 121 samples out of the 415 sent have tested positive for COVID-19.

Corozal District: 47

The Belize Ministry of Health also mentions in their daily report that 4 people have died:
- One male in his 40s died at the Northern Regional Hospital after being hospitalized for approximately 12 hours; he had underlying medical conditions
- The second male was in his 70s and also had underlying conditions, he died at a private facility in Belize City.
- One female died at KHMH’s COVID-19 unit, she had been referred from the Northern Regional Hospital
- The second female was swabbed post mortem as she died outside of the hospital but was a close contact of a confirmed case.
51 persons have reportedly recovered.
The Ministry of Health ends their press release stating that apart from the numbers in this report a further 90 positive cases have been identified at the Belize Central Prison via rapid testing but will be reported seperately.
