Corozal Police report that 20-year-old, Zeidy Ruiz, reported to them that at around 11:50 AM on Thursday she was walking on G-Street South in Corozal Town when a person approached her.
The person then snatched her purse from her and took off running.
Ruiz reports that the robber got away with $230 which was inside her purse.
Corozal Police are looking into the matter.
