The countdown to Belize’s General Elections has officially begun! Prime Minister John Briceño has confirmed that Election Day will be March 12, 2025, ending weeks of speculation about the date.
In his announcement, Briceño shared that he had met with the Governor General to formally advise the dissolution of Parliament, officially kicking off the election period. Over the next few weeks, political parties and candidates across the country will intensify their campaigns, working hard to win voter support.
