Police have charged Andre Arthurs with the murder of Mark Usher Jr., who was shot and killed in Belize City on March 8.
Arthurs, a 27-year-old Belizean construction worker, was arrested following investigations. Authorities say Usher Jr., 33, was ambushed near Jabiru Street and Faber’s Road Extension.
Usher had just arrived home and was parking his blue Chrysler when an assailant on a small bicycle opened fire. Police recovered several shell casings at the scene.
He was rushed to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) but died shortly after. The arrest of Andre Arthurs marks a major development in the case.
