Prime Minister John Briceño has announced new Belize Cabinet appointments. He will advise Governor-General Dame Froyla Tzalam on the selection of Ministers and Ministers of State under the Constitution. The Attorney General appointment will also be recommended.
Key Cabinet Appointments
Prime Minister Briceño will continue leading as Minister of Finance, Investment, Economic Transformation, Civil Aviation, and E-Governance. Assisting him will be Dolores Balderamos Garcia, Rodwell Ferguson, and Osmond Martinez as Ministers of State.
Cordel Hyde remains Deputy Prime Minister, overseeing Natural Resources, Petroleum, and Mining.
Francis Fonseca leads Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Culture, and Immigration, with Marconi Leal Jr. as Minister of State for Foreign Trade.
Jose Abelardo Mai continues as Minister of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise, supported by Alex Balona as Minister of State for Agriculture.
Julius Espat takes charge of Infrastructure Development and Housing, while Kareem Musa oversees Home Affairs and New Growth Industries.
Anthony Mahler leads Tourism, Youth, Sports, and Diaspora Relations, with Devin Daly as Minister of State for Youth & Sports.
Kevin Bernard remains responsible for Health & Wellness.
Orlando Habet manages Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and Solid Waste Management, assisted by Ramiro Ramirez as Minister of State.
Michel Chebat directs Public Utilities, Energy, and Logistics, with Gilroy Usher as Minister of State.
