Authorities report that on Saturday, March 6th, 2021, at about 4:50 p.m., whilst officers were on patrol in the Pine Ridge area of the Placencia Road opposite the garbage dump, they came across a black and white small twin-engine Bee craft airplane that appeared to have crash-landed with its two wheels, two wings and propellers damaged.
Police also observed that the door for the cockpit was opened, and (12) large white empty containers were next to the aircraft.
Officers observed some of the containers had a small amount of suspected aviation fuel.
The aircraft had the markings YV-124.
Police investigation continues.
