A 63-year-old man from San Felipe Village in the Orange Walk District is one of the four to have died today due to symptoms of COVID-19.
According to the Ministry of Health, Natalio Wicab Sr. was rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital and then rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital later on where he passed away.
A few hours later the Ministry of Health released further devastating news that Tely Cruz who is reported to be the sister of Natalio Wicab Sr. also passed away due to severe complications associated with COVID-19.
Of note, both Natalio and Tely were employees at the Blue Creek branch of Caribbean Chicken which was recently closed down along with all other nationwide branches and plants in order to properly sanitize.
