Sometime around 3:00 PM on Wednesday afternoon, a minor was hit by a motorcycle in Orange Walk Town.
The video footage that was gotten from an outside camera at the nearby business, Dibary, shows that the child accompanied by an adult exited a parked taxi on Park Street where the adult is seen helping the child cross the street onto the sidewalk meanwhile he went back across to pay the taxi fare and instead of waiting on the sidewalk the child is seen stepping back off the sidewalk onto the street attempting to cross back to where the adult was.
To her misfortune, she stepped right in front of a moving motorcycle at the very last second and got hit.
The child is said to have only received minor injuries.
