The Childhood Cancer Awareness Walk in Corozal District is happening on February 22, 2025. Organized by the Corozal Lions Club, this event raises awareness and supports children battling cancer.
Participants should arrive at 5:30 AM at Town Hall for the lineup. The walk starts at 6:00 AM and follows this route:
- First Street South to 7th Avenue
- Down to 1st Avenue, into 4th Avenue
- Returning to Town Hall
The Corozal Community Hospital and Ministry of Health and Wellness support this initiative. Organizers encourage everyone to wear yellow to show solidarity with children fighting cancer.
