Corozal Town is set for a transformation! In the coming weeks, the Corozal Town Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development (MED), Ministry of Finance (MoF), and the Inter-American Development Bank, will lead public discussions on Project BL-L1046 Sustainable and Inclusive Urban Development.
This initiative aims to boost sustainable urban development while creating economic opportunities. The proposed upgrades include:
- New Heritage Plaza
- Liberty Court Renovation
- Fisherman’s Pier Upgrade
- Municipal Pier Upgrade
- Welcome Center & Marine Terminal
- Mother’s Park Enhancement
- New Recreational Plaza
- Coastal Stabilization
- Upgraded Public Spaces & Infrastructure
