A Belize City resident was killed on impact this afternoon in the heavily trafficked area of mile two on the Philip Goldson Highway.
According to reports by Belize City Police, Oliver Peters had just left a gas station and was cycling away when he was run over by a passenger bus.
Peters was flung off the cycle and landed on the pavement.
The bus was carrying about fourteen passengers when the mishap occurred.
