A Digi branch burglary has sparked a police investigation after thieves broke in and stole valuable electronics. The incident occurred early Friday morning at the Digi office on Belikin Boulevard.
Around 7:30 AM, a senior customer service agent reported the crime to authorities. She stated that she had properly closed the building the previous evening at 5:30 PM. However, when she arrived for work, a security guard informed her that the front desk window had been broken.
Police responded to the scene and discovered that the fence surrounding the compound had been cut open. This damage suggested that intruders used it as an entry point.
A search of the building confirmed that a silver HP laptop, valued at $2,500, and an Epson printer, worth $350, were missing. The total estimated loss stands at $2,850.
Authorities are now working to retrieve surveillance footage from the company to identify suspects. The Digi branch burglary raises concerns about business security in the area.
Police continue their investigation and urge anyone with information to come forward.
