Two men were admitted to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital last night after a heated family feud escalated into a stabbing incident.
According to Belize City Police, Gilroy Thomas and Tyrique Swazo were at home when an argument ensued between Thomas and his nephew, whose name is being withheld as he is not being criminally charged.
During the argument, the nephew stabbed Thomas four times to the abdomen, and when Swazo tried to intervene he was stabbed to the leg.
Swazo was treated and released, while Thomas remains hospitalized and is listed as being in stable condition.
