Corozal Police report that they have formally arrested and charged 40-year-old, Pankaj Kumar, for causing Death by Careless Conduct.
This comes after Kumar reportedly knocked 68-year-old, Julia Gongora, off her bicycle as she was riding between the area of 3rd street south and 7th avenue in Corozal Town on Sunday, September 12th at around 7:00 AM.
She was rushed to the Corozal Community Hospital but succumbed to her injuries at around 10:00 AM the same day.
