Along with the 56th COVID-19 patient who was identified as being a female living on the island of Ambergris Caye, four more people from the island are reportedly hospitalized and showing severe symptoms of COVID-19.
They will be tested today and based on the results the Government of Belize says they may implement the State of Emergency once again for Ambergris Caye.
Authorities throughout Belize have also been ordered to start strictly enforcing all COVID-19 protocols including the wearing of masks, social distancing, etc.
