The Government of Belize has announced that they have listened to the concerns of Public Transit Operators and as such have decided to make an amendment to the current Statutory Instrument SI #280 of 2020.
Starting on December 24th, 2020 the amount of passengers allowed on public transport during COVID-19 will increase from 50% to 75% of its total seating capacity.
All passengers and staff aboard are still required to wear proper face coverings (PPE) at all times while onboard.
