Dr. Colin Young, son of Sir Colville Young, Governor General of Belize, has been appointed as the new chairman of the board of directors for the Social Security Board.
His appointment is effective as of May 6th, 2020.
Of note, Young was formerly the CEO of the Social Security Board from 2017 to 2019.
He is also currently the Executive Director of the Caribbean Community Climate Change and served as CEO in the Ministries of Agriculture and Energy under the United Democratic Party.
