The Ministry of Health reports that 87 samples were processed today and of those 87 only 1 came back testing positive for the COVID-19.
Fortunately, this person, a Honduran National, had already been placed under mandatory quarantine in Dangriga from a few days ago when members of the Belize Coast Guard found him in Belizean waters.
There are currently only 3 active cases of COVID-19 within the Country of Belize and all 3 are reported to be in mandatory quarantine.
