San Pedro Town Police were called to La Familia Tortilla Factory in the DFC Area of San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye around 4 pm on Sunday, September 27th where 20-year-old Gian Melgar reported to them that the place of business was robbed earlier that day.
According to the report, two men entered the business and ordered tortillas, as Melgar was serving one of them the man pulled out a firearm and aimed it at him.
Meanwhile, the other male went behind the counter and took all of the cash that was within the cash drawer which came up to a total of $110.
Three men have been detained since and are currently being questioned.
