Lord’s Bank Bus Fire Destroys Two Buses, Damages Another

A massive Lord’s Bank Bus Fire early Sunday morning destroyed two buses and damaged another, causing major financial losses.

According to police, the blaze broke out at around 1:35 a.m. on a property along Lord’s Bank Road. Firefighters rushed to the scene to contain the flames as authorities investigated.

Watchman Awakened by the Lord’s Bank Bus Fire

Investigators say the watchman had been asleep inside one of the buses when he suddenly heard an engine start. Moments later, flames erupted from the front of the vehicle.

The watchman, identified as Guzman, attempted to extinguish the fire, but it quickly spread to two other nearby buses.

Significant Financial Losses

The buses, owned by Bernardo Bennett, co-owner of Central Transit Bus Service, had a combined value of $53,000.

  • Two buses were operational, while the third was out of service.
  • Two were insured under Third-Party Home Protector Insurance, but one was not covered.

Investigation Underway

Authorities are actively investigating the Lord’s Bank Bus Fire. Police have processed the scene, interviewed witnesses, and reviewed cell phone footage captured by residents. The investigation continues to determine the cause of the fire.
