Authorities from Chetumal, Quintana Roo report that at around 7:50 AM (Mexican Time) reports came in of a suspected drug plane making a landing on the Chunhubub – Jose Maria Morelos Highway near Kilometer 61.
As authorities arrived on the scene they found a jet plane parked in the middle of the road abandoned and engulfed in flames.
