Two former employees of the Ministry of Labor, Local Government, and Rural Transformation were slapped with fifteen charges of theft reportedly misappropriating thirty-five thousand dollars from government funds.
According to Assistant Commissioner of Police, Joseph Myvett, two clerks working for the Ministry of Labor, Emany Sanchez, and Steve Murray Jr. were both arrested and charged over the weekend for the embezzlement of thirty-five thousand dollars.
Authorities continue to investigate the matter and believe that many more employees will be charged.
