A 33-year-old woman lost her life on Tuesday night in what Police are calling a suspicious traffic accident.
They are calling it suspicious because a woman later identified as Constancia Griceldi Cano allegedly fell out of the passenger seat of a Dodge Pickup Truck she was traveling in but even though the incident occurred around 6:00 PM between miles 73 and 74 of the Philip Goldson Highway, it was not reported by her partner until around 9:00 PM that night in Corozal.
According to Cano’s partner, they were driving down the Philip Goldson Highway heading towards Corozal and having an argument over $25.00 when she suddenly fell out of the passenger seat of the Pickup.
Police are currently investigating whether Constancia jumped from the moving vehicle in an attempt to get away from her partner or if she was pushed out of the moving vehicle by the said partner during the domestic dispute.
Either way, all eyes are on the partner.
Constancia Griceldi Cano was reported to have passed away after receiving fatal injuries from falling out of the moving vehicle.
