The Ministry of Finance announced that as of midnight on Saturday, October 23rd the prices of Regular Gasoline and Diesel went up.
The report claims that Regular Gasoline will increase by 33 cents from $11.49 to $11.82 per gallon meanwhile Diesel will increase by 12 cents from $10.70 to $10.82 per gallon.
The prices for Premium Gasoline and Kerosene will remain unchanged at $11.76 and $7.69 per gallon, respectively.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the increase in fuel prices is due to current demand and supply conditions of crude oil in the international petroleum market and fluctuations in the acquisition price of refined fuel products in the countries from which Belize obtains its supplies.
