A shocking incident took place over the weekend at Princess Ramada Hotel, where a housekeeper faced a terrifying threat while on duty.
According to police reports, the housekeeper was making her rounds on the third floor of Princess Ramada Hotel around 7:30 PM when the incident happened. Earlier, she had stocked towels in Room #308 due to low supplies. About 20 minutes later, she returned to check on the room, knocked, and announced her presence. A voice from inside told her to leave the towels on the veranda.
While outside, she noticed a nearby door slightly open, left ajar by an Asian male guest. As she approached, the situation escalated. The man allegedly pulled out a silver and black weapon and pressed it against her. Fearing for her life, she dropped the towels and fled.
Hotel staff quickly called the police. Officers arrived at Princess Ramada Hotel and searched the area. They soon identified the suspect, a resident of Caye Caulker Village, who is now wanted for aggravated assault. Authorities confirmed they are actively searching for him.
This disturbing event has raised security concerns at Princess Ramada Hotel. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
The hotel has yet to release an official statement. Meanwhile, guests and staff remain on high alert as police work to locate the suspect. Updates will follow as more details emerge.
