The Ministry of Health report that a further four positive cases have been identified.
These four belong to the adults who were accompanying the three COVID-19 Positive Children who were caught attempting to enter Belize illegally in the Orange Walk District.
All seven members of the family who are supposedly from Blue Creek were placed into mandatory quarantine at the ITVET Center in Orange Walk District.
The Ministry of Health will be conducting additional tests in the community of Blue Creek this weekend.
There is a total of 37 cases with 15 of them being active and in mandatory quarantine.
Of note, 9 of those 15 active cases are registered in Orange Walk District and belong to people caught attempting to illegally cross into Belize from Mexico.
