A San Estevan assault case has resulted in the arrest of a man accused of trespassing and attacking a woman with a stone.
The victim reported that on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, around 7:30 p.m., she was at home in San Estevan Village, Orange Walk District, with her two daughters. When she opened the back door, she saw a man standing six feet away.
She confronted him, asking who gave him permission to enter her yard. Instead of responding, he allegedly picked up a stone and threw it at her, missing before fleeing.
Police later detained the suspect, and on March 5, 2025, they obtained a warrant to charge him with Aggravated Assault and Trespassing formally.
The San Estevan assault case remains under investigation, with the suspect still in police custody. Authorities continue gathering evidence.
