The Ministry of Health reports that one of the four Belizeans to pass away due to COVID-19 today is an Anglican School Teacher by the name of Verna Gladden.
Gladden was said to have recently given birth via C-Section at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and had also tested positive for COVID-19.
She was recently discharged from the KHMH but re-admitted when she started suffering from COVID-19 related complications and reportedly passed away due to those complications this morning.
