A six-year-old boy has reportedly been hospitalized since Wednesday evening due to COVID-19.
According to Dr. Marvin Manzanero, this is Belize’s first pediatric case and the child was originally admitted to the Northern Regional Hospital in Orange Walk due to a pre-existing kidney condition and was then moved to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after he was diagnosed with Pneumonia which is a result of testing positive to the Coronavirus.
