The Ministry of Health has released a report claiming that three additional cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Belize.
The Ministry noted that two of the new cases were discovered in Corozal District meanwhile the third was in Belize City and all three patients were tested because they were reported to have been in contact with previously identified patients.
No names have been released and all three patients are reported to be currently self-isolating in their homes as they are not showing any major symptoms of the virus.
The Ministry of Health urges all Belizeans to continue practicing Social Distancing, avoid being in public spaces if it is not necessary and to keep practicing proper hygiene.
