Acting upon information received on Tuesday, July 21st of a drowning incident in Bella Vista Village, Toledo Police visited the Bella Vista Poly Clinic where they observed the lifeless body of a baby boy.
Initial investigation revealed that on Tuesday, July 21st at around 4:30 PM all four kids were playing in the yard under the supervision of their mother.
Suddenly the mother noticed that she had lost track of one of her kids, a one-year-old boy.
She immediately began to search the property for him and upon checking an adjoining lot she found the one-year-old floating motionless inside an abandoned well measured at 2 feet wide in circumference and 2 feet deep.
She immediately rushed her son to the Bella Vista Poly Clinic for medical attention but was pronounced dead upon arrival at 4:46 PM.
The child’s body has been transported to the Southern Regional Hospital Morgue where a Postmortem Examination will be conducted.
