President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that the U.S. will be halting all funds to the World Health Organization (WHO) while a review is conducted.
The review would cover the WHO’s role in severly mismanaging and covering up the spread of the Coronavirus.
During his press release, Trump claimed that WHO made a dangerous and costly decision to oppose travel restrictions to China and had they acted appropriately the United States of America could have instituted a travel ban on people coming from China much sooner.
The U.S. reportedly funds $400 to $500 million to the World Health Organization each year.
