Corozal Police are currently investigating a murder that occurred on the night of Thursday, August 26th in the Finca Solana area of Corozal Town.
According to initial reports from the police, Guadalupe Chimal, wife of a well-known locksmith, Angel Chimal, arrived at her home around 6:00 PM where she discovered the lifeless body of her husband lying outside their home, face up with a large open wound to his body.
The body was transported to the Corozal Community Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
His body currently awaits a Post Mortem Examination.
