Update: Belize City Police report that 22-year-old, Jeffery Contreras, was arrested and charged for the crime of Abetment to Commit Murder in the case of Sean Menzies.
A well known salesman of Belize City was killed last night in front of his home.
According to reports, 57-year-old Sean Menzies had just gotten home at around 11:15 pm when two men approached and shot him as he smoked a cigarette in front of his home on Lancaster Street, Belize City.
Menzies was pronounced dead just before one o’clock this morning at the KHMH.
Reports from neighbors suggest that the authorities took an hour to respond to their calls for assistance.
