A Coastal Road armed robbery unfolded Saturday afternoon around 3:00 PM when two masked gunmen targeted a contractor at his job site.
The suspects, both dark-skinned men dressed in black, emerged from a black SUV. One brandished a firearm and demanded money, forcing the victim to lie on the ground while the other searched him.
The assailants escaped with jewellery worth $9,900, a wallet containing $100, debit and credit cards, a Social Security card, and a driver’s license.
Witnesses heard gunshots as the robbers fled toward La Democracia Village. Nearby, police found a black 2003 Mitsubishi Montero with a bullet hole in the rear right side.
Authorities continue to investigate the Coastal Road armed robbery and urge anyone with information to step forward.
