The Ministry of Health reports that 66 samples were processed on Monday morning which included samples from Belizeans who arrived on a reparation flight on Friday, July 17th.
Out of the 66 samples, two samples returned testing positive for COVID-19.
The first case belongs to a male who arrived on Fridays’ reparation flight and the second case belongs to a male who entered Belize through the Western Border from Guatemala.
Both men are currently in quarantine.
There are currently 18 active cases in the country and all of the COVID-19 infected patients are currently in quarantine.
